Joseph Marchante said… The only confusion here is the one you create with your definitions of "truth" etc. You have a language of your own that has nothing to do with Reality. If you do not believe me, go to a university and ask the Philosophy department to make an assessment of your statements. "Philodophy isn't true and is usually based on popular points of view"? Really! Is that why they poisoned Socrates, because he was so popular?
I recommend Logic 101 and a few Philosophy courses so that you can become better acquainted with Philosophy as a subject of study, and with good philosophers in general.

Carmen, there is no misery, confusion, doubt, or fear in my mind. I am extremely happy (personally) because I am a well-balanced person. However, I am very concerned about the state of the world and about the damage false beliefs cause. Go to my website and read my blog "Love is a one-legged philosophy." You need to read my literature before you start writing nonsense "We can believe in nothing but we can never make it true." Not my position. "...And we can pretend we created ourselves..." Not my position. "...and are smarter than the Power that holds the universe together, but that is all--it is simply a pretense." My position: I know the Infinite Source and Ultimate God is NOT a mind, and I state I have proven that through logical argumentation which is formally and academically completely superior to what you are doing which is just blurting out statements of faith with nothing to back it up.
There may be an intelligence connected with our universe, but that is not the Ultimate God. If it, he or she exists, it is a creature with consciousness that evolved from ERC, the only past-eternal True God, the only Reality we should recognize as God.
I love it how you speak as if your belief were knowledge "...the Power that holds the universe together." Have you seen it? How is this power holding the universe together, with hands, hands and feet? How? Oh, it is something you learned from a book and heard from others. Oh, it is something you were programmed to believe. Oh, I see, no wonder you seem so self-assured. You end the paragraph with a beauty "If you would like to get an earful of absolute truth, then..."
